McDougall Sweeps Best of Show, Garners Another 11 Honors at 2024 PRism Awards
ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 14, 2024—McDougall Communications won both the not-for-profit and corporate Best of Show awards as well as 11 other honors at 2024 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Rochester Chapter PRism Awards.
The firm earned the not-for-profit Best of Show award for its work with the Contact Lens Institute (CLI) for “Seeing Eye to Eye: Insights Inspire Contact Lens Prescribers.” The program presented extensive consumer and peer research in an accessible way alongside tips from leading optometrists to equip eye care professionals with the knowledge and motivation to grow their contact lens practice. Last month, this campaign also earned McDougall two national PRSA Silver Anvil Awards and a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation.
The corporate Best of Show award went to McDougall and CooperVision for collaborating to create a celebratory VIP parade through New Orleans, kicking off the American Academy of Optometry conference. This unexpected event drew attention to the eye care company’s leadership in controlling childhood myopia, sparking excitement around the fight to improve the lives of kids through innovative MiSight 1 day contact lenses.
McDougall also took home top honors in program and element categories for Events and Observances (CooperVision), Integrated Communications (CLI), Marketing (CLI), Advertorials (CooperVision), Annual Reports (Healthix), Creative Tactics (CooperVision), Editorial and Op-Ed Columns (CooperVision), Feature Stories (CooperVision), Media Relations (Martinizing Dry Cleaners), Press Conferences (CooperVision), and Research & Evaluation (CLI).
